PE pipe surface rough after extrusion, why?
Features of PE pipe:
◆ Good hygiene, self-cleaning and antibacterial, no scaling after long-term use, which solves the secondary pollution of drinking water.
◆ Resistant to a variety of chemical media, no electrochemical corrosion.
◆ The inner wall is smooth, the friction coefficient is low, the medium flow capacity is correspondingly high, and it has excellent wear resistance.
◆ Flexibility, high impact strength, strong shock and twist resistance.
◆ Light weight, easy to transport and install.
◆ The connection process is simple, the construction is convenient, and the overall project cost is low.
◆ The service life is 50 years.
In terms of mechanical properties, PE pipes focus on flexibility, impact resistance, and shock resistance, but their ductility is poor, and extrusion or bending mainly depends on the ductility of the material, which seems to depend on the crystal structure of the material and cannot be strengthened. PE When the pipe is reduced in diameter or turned, it is generally connected by a direct head or an elbow, which is also designed according to its poor ductility. Generally, the steel pipe is deformed by cold bending or hot bending when it is bent, but the wall of the pipe will become thinner and the shape will change at the stretched place; the pipe with larger diameter still uses elbow, welding or threaded connection, especially if there is pressure requirements or strength requirements. When the diameter of the steel pipe is reduced, the straight-through connection is generally used.
