It can not only convey horizontally, but also can be inclined or vertically lifted and conveyed; it can feed materials at multiple points and discharge materials at multiple points, and the process layout of the conveyor is more flexible. Since the shell is closed, it has outstanding advantages in improving the operating conditions of workers and preventing environmental pollution when conveying materials that are easy to fly, toxic, explosive and high temperature.

Conveyors use air flow to transport materials. Its working principle is: the material is sucked into the air flow in the pneumatic conveying pipe to form a suspension flow

The gas-material mixture is transported to the destination through the pipeline, the conveyor, and then the material is separated from the airflow. It is mainly used to transport granular materials: such as crushed coal, pulverized coal, cement powder, sand, grain, chemical materials, clay, etc. Widely used in agriculture, wood processing, foundry workshop, port, building materials and other departments.


The advantages of the conveyor are high productivity, simple equipment, compact structure, convenient operation, long conveying distance, pipelines can be laid underground or in the air, and simple maintenance.


The disadvantage is that the energy consumption is large (10 to 15 times larger than that of mechanical transportation), and it cannot transport viscous, wet and bulky materials. According to its power equipment, the conveyor is divided into suction test pneumatic conveyor or There are two types of compressed air conveyors. The former material is inhaled by the suction nozzle, mixed with air, and sent to the separator for discharge through the pipeline, and the air is filtered and sent out through the filter. The vacuum degree of suction should be below 9.8kPa for short distance, and at least 0.039 ~ 0.049MPa for long distance transportation. The main disadvantage of this kind of conveyor is the limited suction and the short transportation distance. Compressor type pneumatic conveyor, the material is sent to the air flow from the feeder, unloaded to the separator, and the air is filtered and discharged into the atmosphere. This conveyor is divided into two types: low pressure type and high pressure type. The air pressure of the low pressure type is below 0.049MPa, and the air pressure of the high pressure type can reach 0.588 ~ 0.686MPa. This kind of conveyor has a long conveying distance and can discharge materials to several places at the same time, and consumes less electricity than the air-breathing pneumatic conveyor.
